I’m still slowly easing myself back in to running. Tonight was a 25 minute run, and it’s just the second time that I’ve done that. My legs are feeling a little sore from all the time off as my muscles get stronger, but it’s not pain like before. I’ve been working out at the YMCA on off days. I’ve put on a noticeable amount of weight since I haven’t been running nearly as much too. Bleh!
I also decided it was time for new shoes. I got a pair of Brooks Adrenaline GTS 11 shoes in from Running Warehouse today. Of course, that’s what I did my run in tonight. They felt pretty comfy actually. I don’t know that I can tell that much of a difference between the 11’s with the Brooks DNA “stuff” and the 10’s without it. I just hope that my legs continue getting stronger and I remain injury free!
Competitor / Rock N Roll has never sent me the t-shirt for the Las Vegas Half Marathon that they promised. I guess I shouldn’t have expected those folks to do one extra lick of work than they absolutely had to. And the Zappos folks didn’t send me whatever they said they were going to send me. They didn’t owe me anything, but they did say they would send “something.” Oh well. I did just email both groups, so we’ll see who actually follows through with their promises.

Congrats on te run today. I’m goIng to shoot for a run walk on Friday. Sorry to hear about te LV stuff. That sucks
